4 | rib eye OR strip steaks (10 to 12 ounces each) |
4 tablespoons | Weber® Coffee Rub |
Red Wine Mushroom Sauce | |
5 tablespoons | butter, divided |
1/2 cup | diced onion |
2 cloves | garlic, minced |
8 ounces | sliced mushrooms |
1 teaspoon | Weber® Coffee Rub |
1/2 teaspoon | sugar |
1/2 cup | red wine |
Generously coat steaks with rub. Grill over Direct Medium heat for 12 to 16 minutes, turning once. Remove from grill and let rest 5 minutes.
While steaks are cooking, melt 2 tablespoons butter in large skillet. Add onions and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add mushrooms, 1 teaspoon rub and sugar. Cook until mushrooms are almost tender. Add wine and cook over medium heat until wine is reduced to about half. Gradually stir in remaining 3 tablespoons butter. Serve over steaks.
